These terms govern your use of BuyLater. By saving a product or otherwise using the service — through our website or an AI assistant — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use BuyLater.
What BuyLater does
BuyLater lets you save a product you want to buy later and choose a condition to watch for. We then monitor that product and email you when the condition is met.
- Save an intent — you tell us a product (and optionally a link) and the condition to watch for: back in stock, a price drop, a new release, or simply saving it for later with no alert.
- We monitor — we periodically check the product and track changes such as availability or price.
- We notify — when your condition is met, we email you a link so you can decide whether to buy.
BuyLater is a notification service. We are not a retailer, we do not sell products, and we are not a party to any purchase you make. Buying a product is a transaction between you and the relevant store, on that store's own terms.
No warranty on price or stock accuracy
BuyLater is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We monitor third-party stores and websites we do not control, and the information we gather can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. We do not warrant that any price, availability, product detail, or notification is accurate, timely, or complete.
- A notification is a prompt to check for yourself — always confirm the current price and availability with the store before you buy.
- We may miss a change, notify you late, or not notify you at all (for example if a store changes its site, blocks monitoring, or is unavailable).
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on our monitoring or notifications, or from any purchase decision you make.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Cancelling a saved item
You can cancel a saved item at any time. Every email we send includes a link to view or cancel that item, and you can manage your saved items through the same link. Once canceled, we stop monitoring that item and stop sending notifications for it.
Acceptable use
- Use BuyLater only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in unauthorised ways.
- Provide an email address you are entitled to use, so notifications reach the right person.
Your data
Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. It explains what we collect, why, and how you can manage or delete your data.
Changes and availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue BuyLater, or any part of it, at any time. We may also update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version, and your continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
